This stylish spacious apartment with free parking for one car and lift is situated in the lovely Spa area of Scarborough just a few minutes’ walk from the Cliff Lift down to the stunning South Bay. With views from the bay window towards Oliver’s Mount on one side and the sea on the other the apartment is located in a quiet area but close to all of the town’s attractions with a wide range of shops, excellent restaurants, bars, and takeaway outlets close by. 

No.6 at Nirvana is on the third floor of an elegant Regency building and has been recently refurbished to a high standard. You will have exclusive access to the apartment, also shared access to the lift, front and rear entrances and stairs. Once you've arrived and are safely parked at the rear of the building there’s no need to use your car because most of the resort’s attractions are easily reached.

The South Bay beach has the best of both worlds with wide sands – great for making sandcastles - rock pools, sheer cliffs and the lovely South Cliff gardens including the famous Italian Gardens. The bustling harbour, amusements, and fun fair are just a short stroll away. The North Bay, the location of Scarborough’s Open-Air Theatre, Alpamare Water Park and Peasholm Park, is a little further but you can easily catch one of the buses that run regularly along the sea front, or drive. On the other hand, it’s an exciting walk, especially if the sea is stormy! 

The Cleveland Way cliff path is easily accessed from No.6 and a scenic walk with stunning views will take you to the remote Cayton Bay and beyond. Why not have a jaunt up Oliver's Mount which is near to the apartment for some of the best views Scarborough has to offer? Or a short walk through town will take you to the castle, one of the finest tourist attractions in the North. If you want to explore further afield, we suggest you drive inland to visit the nearby Yorkshire Moors National Park, the magnificent chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head, Whitby (famed for its associations with Dracula and Gothic culture), or the quaint fishing villages of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes which can also be reached by bus. The apartment is just a 10-minute walk from the bus and train station.

The bright and inviting lounge/diner has been furnished with a touch of luxury with a dining table and chairs in the large bay window, a comfy sofa which can be converted into a double sofa bed, seats in the bay window, wide screen Smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon, Wi-fi, Fast Broadband, USB charging points and Alexa. Heating can be controlled by the guests as required via a thermostat. 

An open plan fitted kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob, washing machine, four-slot toaster, kettle, and fridge freezer. There’s a Nespresso machine with capsules and tea bags, instant coffee, sugar, olive oil and fresh milk are provided. 

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with an award-winning Emma mattress, wardrobe, dressing table with art-deco mirror. All bed linen is of high-quality count cotton with luxury duvets.  

The en-suite bathroom includes a roomy cubicle shower, heated towel rail, toilet, and sink. (PLEASE NOTE: the bathroom is off the bedroom so extra guests sleeping on the sofa bed will have to move briefly through one corner of the bedroom to access the bathroom).

An iron, ironing board, hairdryer, towels, toiletries (shampoo and conditioner and shower gel), tea towels and washing up liquid are also provided.

Guest Access: Access to No.6 at Nirvana is via a short flight of steps at the front of the building. You will be sent a code for the key safe prior to arriving. The apartment can be identified by the sign on the pillars and the name Nirvana is on the front door window panel. Once through the front door you can take the sweeping staircase up to the third floor or use the modern lift which holds up to three people at a time. You’ll find the door to No.6 on the right of the landing coming out of the lift or left coming up the stairs.

The lift is quite small and measures 35 by 35 inches, maximum three people (225k). It won’t fit a wheelchair or push chair unless folded up.

No.6 at Nirvana is one of our three luxury apartments in the building. The other two apartments are: No.8 at Nirvana, which also sleeps 4 , and Scarborough Penthouse which offers panoramic views from all rooms and sleeps up to five people. The apartments can be rented out together if more accommodation is needed.
